The IRE Council is delighted to invite you to its 1st ESG Conference, to be held on 25 November 2024 (16PM to 18PM) at the Chamber of Commerce.

This ESG focused conference will gather members from the IRE ESG Commission as well as representatives from the Public Oversight of the Audit Profession division of the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) and will focus on the impact of the upcoming into force of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for the profession.

The conference agenda includes topics, such as:

- Initial and ongoing training requirements

- Guidelines on limited assurance engagements on sustainability information 

- Evolution of the professional exams

The conference provides an excellent platform for networking, learning, and sharing experiences with peers on the upcoming challenges and opportunities for the profession with the entry into force of CSRD.

We will conclude with a networking cocktail where attendees can reconnect with peers.
